Stressless Chair Winner

We are delighted to announce the lucky winner of our Stressless Atlantic chair and footstool competition is Mrs Bennett from Wendover. Mrs Bennett was picked from hundreds of people who had entered our competition throughout the year.

We took to the roads in February to attend show events at Milton Keynes shopping centre, Oxfordshire County and Thame Show and, of course, Bucks County Show, where we displayed a select range of our finest furniture.   

Pop in today to see what you’re missing out on and enjoy a cup of coffee whilst you browse our extensive collections of living, dining, beds and bedroom furniture spread across two halls.

Winter Photoshoot at Tew

We've just finished our latest photoshoot for Winter which took place on the Great Tew Estate, Chipping Norton, in the grand Tew Park House.  Tew is a popular location for filming and photography, and it's easy to see why with it's stunning setting and beautiful buildings.  We shot photos for our upcoming Winter promotion in the old manor house which is currently shrouded in scaffolding and has been empty for over 30 years.  On what was one of the hottest days of the year we were inside wrapped up in gloves and hats!

Lucas Furniture on Tour 2011!

We have had a busy year attending shows across the county!

The year kicked off with us exhibiting at the first of our Milton Keynes shows in February, and we had customers enthralled with our Wood Turner from Wood Bros demonstrating his skills in furniture making.  Next on the list was a trip to Chiltern Forest Golf Club's Captain's Day - the tent was pitched on probably the only flat part of the course (fortunately next to the catering!) and we managed to hold on to all our Stressless chairs on what was a very windy day! 

Thame County Show was another opportunity to display our fantastic collection of Stressless chairs with the added bonus of Thai Pasties on offer.  And Bucks County Show proved to be another successful event  - the amazing weather was definitely on our side this year, which made it one of our busiest ever!

And finally, we've just returned from the last show of the year at Milton Keynes shopping centre - a busy time as always and great response to our collection of favourite pieces of furniture.

PS To all who kindly visited us on our stands this year a big thank you - it was a pleasure to meet you all and also see some familiar faces.  We'll let you know shortly if you are the lucky winner of a Stressless Chair and Footstool.

Drawing Competition Winners Announced

Congratulations to Stuart Raw, aged 7, and Chloe Tebbutt, aged 12, whose fantastic entries won our Drawing Competition, 'Design a Royal Wedding Car'.  Stuart and Chloe were selected from a huge number of entries and have won a trip to Gullivers Land or meal at Pizza Hut!

Our marketing team and designers have been busy preparing for the photo shoot of the Spamalot and The Chinese Circus style adverts.
